Making the Decision

Making a decision to move to a CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community) is not easy for many people. It’s normal to ask “How am I going to downsize?” Or to simply wonder, “Am I going to be happy once I move?” Just remember that many people before you have had these same thoughts and have been grateful for the change…once it’s done! Rest assured that we will help you as much as we can to consider all of the practicalities of a move and to help you realize, once you have settled into The Tamalpais, that life takes on a wonderful, new meaning.

Skilled Nursing

Our Five Star Skilled Nursing is available for residents who need medical care following an illness, injury, surgery or hospitalization. Skilled Nursing means you have professional medical care, support and assistance 24-hours a day.
