The Tamalpais Is The Only Accredited
CCRC in Marin
The Tamalpais Life Care community has been recognized for its exemplary performance and is the only accredited Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Marin. For over 20 years, we have been accredited by CARF-CCAC, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of human service providers that was established in 1966.
What This Means
The accreditation process validates The Tamalpais’ high level of performance and health care delivery and lets us know how we can make your home at The Tamalpais even better. We are focused on exceeding expectations.
CARF-CCAC is the only group in the U.S. that examines and reports on how standards are met in CCRCs. CARF-CCAC has developed a strict set of guidelines, standards and practices by which CCRCs are measured.
The Tamalpais’ quality of care and staff-to-resident ratio exceeds some of the strictest guidelines.
Accreditation is a sign of quality and should be an important consideration in decision-making for a Life Care Retirement Community.
CARF International is an independent, non-profit organization with longevity. They were established in 1966 so their experience in accrediting a CCRC can be trusted.
You and your loved ones can feel secure in knowing we are exceeding expectations.
Achieving accreditation means we will commit to always improving, focusing on the unique needs of each resident and monitoring the results of services.
You can feel good knowing that we want to work with CARF International in order to constantly improve our quality of care for each and every resident.
